JACKSONVILLE, Ore. -- Wet weather across Southern Oregon has people making changes to their summer plans.
Even a sudden downpour in Southern Oregon on Tuesday wasn't going to keep people away from seeing Allison Krauss at the Britt Festival. Britt says only a thunderstorm would cancel a performance. The same goes for the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, who will keep performances going on the Elizabethan Stage.
But first came the long wait in the rain. Some people had camped in line at Britt for more than 12 hours before Tuesday night's show, and everyone had their own personal reasons for braving the rain. But many say a little rain isn't going to hurt.
The Allison Krauss concert is one of the most anticipated of the Britt season, so people are finding ways to beat the rain.
But not much longer, the show starts at 7 p.m., and tickets are sold out.
