MEDFORD, Ore. -- As visitors continue to pour in for the Medford Jazz Festival, local hotels said this is one of their busiest time.
The Red Lion is hosting two venues for the Jazz Festival and their lobby was full all Saturday morning with more people booking a night stay or enjoying lunch before catching a show.
But managers said this exposure is not only helping business now but ensuring more for the future.
"They like the venues that we have, they like the proximity to downtown and they book for next year. In fact I have already been at the front desk and there's people reserving their rooms for next year," said general manger, David Hymas.
At last check Saturday afternoon the hotel was 98% booked, with only five rooms left out of 179.
