CORVALLIS, Ore. --- The Malcolm Agnew injury saga's end might be in sight. For the first time since his hamstring injury, the freshman running back made it through a full week of practice.
"The strength was the main thing I was missing," Agnew said. "My strength's all back, and I'm feeling pretty good for the game. I'm pretty sure I'll play because I had a good week of practice."
"Right now all indications are he is going to play," Head Coach Mike Riley said.
Riley also said that if Agnew does suit up, don't expect to see him out there every snap. Agnew will not be the starter and is expected to have a limited snap count.
The Beavers should also have another tailback ready to go for the BYU game. Jovan Stevenson (concussion) was cleared for full contact Thursday and will likely share the backfield reps with Agnew and Terron Ward.
Wide receiver Jordan Bishop (ankle) returned to practice Thursday and said he also expects to be ready to play Saturday.
