MEDFORD,Ore.--The first Medford occupy movement brought in dozens of supporters to Alba Park and while the numbers have dropped the group remains determined to bring about change.
The Medford occupy group meets in Alba Park every Saturday from noon to 3 o'clock.
Approximately 15 members endured the cold weather to hash out new plans Saturday afternoon.
Saturday's gathering was focused on forming committees to help increase awareness and bring in more supporters.
"We need more people here to educate them basically and that's where we are going to start focusing on is educating Medford in particular," said Occupy Medford member, Nick Patterson.
Occupy Medford said the committees will focus on local issues.
The group is planning to confirm more events by their next session, including attending city council meetings and scheduling sit ins and rallies.
