MEDFORD, Ore. -- Playground equipment, once left behind, is now being donated to enrich the lives of hundreds of kids.
"Kid Time" in Medford moved locations, but its new downtown property doesn't have any outdoor space. That's why this afternoon, play structures, a playhouse, picnic tables and much more were taken from their former home and trucked over to "On Track" and "Family Nurturing Center" sites.
The equipment is intended to improve the lives of children whose parents are in recovery from addictions and related behaviors. Batzer, a local construction company donated the manpower, trucks and equipment to make this contribution possible.
